I’m just a fool
who likes to spend her time
experimenting
with rhythm and rhyme.
I’ll never get rich
in this word game.
I won’t find fortune.
I won’t find fame,
but I have found
a kindred soul or two,
not a lot, just a few,
who also like
to put words in a string,
creating pearls of wisdom,
making lingual bling.
Love this Connie, couldn't have said it better myself and I love making lingual bling too.
ReplyDeleteOh this is cute, Connie. You have certainly reached a lot of us with your lingual bling.
ReplyDeletemaking lingual bling - wow love it! There are always those kindred souls we meet in life - glad u have a few to rhyme with.
ReplyDeleteI don't write poetry much because I am in love with photos! But I admire your ability.

ReplyDeleteYes, I did! I read there were quite a few entries, so I don't know how it will go, but I did try. :)
