A Bird by the Water
Imagine being a bird
that lives by the water
with nothing to ruffle your feathers
but an occasional sea breeze.
You spend your day
playing tag with the tide,
and your biggest worry
is finding the perfect dock post in the evening--
a place to roost and watch the sun go down.
So lovely Daisy..! "Dashing through the snow.. In a one horse ...." Let the bells jingle through out for bringing happiness and prosperity to all... Gud wishes and Cheers!!! Happy Christmas.
ReplyDeleteIn Malays we say 'Selamat Hari Krismas aka Hari Natal'; in Chinese its '聖誕快樂 Shèng dàn kuài lè' and Merry Xmas & Happy Holidays to you & family

ReplyDeleteAhh Daisy, this is just what I needed to see, the beach and the sea birds. THANK YOU and Merry Christmas to you and yours from St. Louis, MO where we may or may not get up to six inches of snow tonight, depending on where the dividing line is.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Betsy! Merry Christmas to you and George! :)
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you and John, Mildred! :-D
Thank you, Linda. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas! The weatherman is predicting four to eight inches of snow for us here back in Ohio tomorrow--a day late for a white Christmas, but still just as cold! ha! :D
I hope you have a MERRY CHRISTMAS today! Sandie♥
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sandie! Hugs to you. Merry Christmas! :-)
ReplyDeleteConnie, I really like these bird pictures, but then, I like ALL bird pictures:) It would be nice to be as carefree as these birds! It's been a very rainy day here in MS on this Christmas day! Guess you will enjoy the snow, if you get it. Maybe we will get some later this winter.
ReplyDeleteOoh, this makes me wish I was on a sunny beach right now!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dorothy! You always take such lovely photos of birds! I appreciate your kind words. They are still saying we will get snow tomorrow. We will see what happens! :-)
ReplyDeleteKaren, I'm back in Ohio now, and it's COLD here. I am missing that sunny beach and wishing I were back there too! Ha! :-D

ReplyDeletePearl, Florida definitely felt unreal when I was down there. It was gorgeous weather with temps in the 70's and low 80's. It sure wasn't like an Ohio winter. :D
